Throughout the day those visiting were treated to various types of fiber processing and spinning demonstrations, plus had an opportunity to purchase items made with alpaca fiber.
As shown in the photos, kids got a chance to see the animals up close and personal, too.
Alpacas for Autism, a nonprofit organization has a unique mission- “To improve the quality of life for individuals with Autism by teaching the fiber arts and using alpacas to improve social skills.” Proceeds from today's event will go directly to the cause.
