Governor Jay Nixon makes visit to Adrian this morning

Gov. Nixon took a few moments to answer questions from a
young fan prior to entering the Optimist building this morning
Governor Jay Nixon made a stop in Adrian this morning to meet and greet a group of supporters as he campaigns for a second term.

Nixon spoke to the crowd for about 30 minutes on a variety of topics including the state's record number of disasters last year along with some of Missouri's success stories as well.

Those present were treated to a light lunch prior to the Governor heading Southbound for his next engagement of the day.

Before a crowd of about 80 people, Nixon spoke about Missouri's success stories including exporting to China,
beating Mexico for a manufacturing plant and exclusive models of cars made in Kansas City and St. Louis.

Governor Nixon took plenty of time to shake hands and meet those who came to see him today in Adrian
