Local 4-H'ers shine in Demonstration Day

 Seven Bates County 4-H members participated in Demonstration Day which was held on Saturday, June 2, at the First Christian Church in Butler. According to Alan J. Mundey, 4-H Youth Specialist, the results are as follows:

Public Speaking
Junior Division
Ella Armentrout (Humorous Interpretation)…Blue ribbon
James Fischer…Blue ribbon
Senior Division
Erin Armentrout…Blue ribbon
Taylor Fischer…Blue ribbon
All four will advance to the State 4-H Public Speaking Contest to be held in September.

Working Demonstrations
Ella Armentrout…Blue ribbon
Erin Armentrout…Blue ribbon
Both Ella and Erin qualified to give their demonstrations at the Missouri State Fair.

General Demonstrations
Allison Jenkins…Blue ribbon
Noah Long…Blue ribbon
Triston Trumbore…Blue ribbon
All have qualified to present their demonstrations at the Missouri State Fair:
