Drexel family hurt in Cass County accident

Around 2:30 p.m. yesterday a two car accident in Cass county sent three members of a Drexel family to the hospital with injuries ranging from minor to serious.

2003 Ford driven by 70 year old Karen S. Moul of Freeman, Mo. was attempting to make a left turn on Missouri route 2 highway near route C and was struck by a 1996 Honda driven by Michael P. Dirlam 36, of Drexel.

Dirlam received minor injuries along with a passenger Cerinty L. Dirlam, age 5. Another passenger Cherokee L. Dirlam, 14, had serious injuries and was transported to Belton Regional Hospital for treatment.

Karen Moul received minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.
