On January 11, 2013 at approximately 3:10 A.M., the Butler
Fire Department, with an automatic mutual aid response from Adrian Fire Dept.,
responded to a report of a structure fire at 1010 W. Ft. Scott St. in Butler.
On arrival, a heavy volume of fire was found in the attached
garage area at the west side of a single story, wood frame residential
structure.
The fire was extinguished with heavy fire damage to the
garage and fire extension into the attic area.
The remainder of the residence sustained heavy to moderate
heat and smoke damage.
There were no injuries.
