Coach Wackerman’s Comments
“These young wrestlers faced a lot of adversity this year. If they stay in the wrestling program, commit to better habits, and keep the big picture in perspective, they will have a good future together. Trey Heckadon showed us why he is already a two-time state medalist, working so hard to return to the mat this season after surgery. We are proud of Trey, proud of all of our wrestlers who finished the season, and thankful to our families, our fans, our local media, our school district, and our benefactors in the community who have helped us through this rebuilding season. We will only improve as a team and as individual wrestlers with the lessons learned this year.”
