Reported grass fire out of control

  Butler Fire Department along with Rich Hill Fire Department is on scene of a reported grass fire that was out of control and getting close to a structure. This fire was located at County Rd. SE. 4286 5 miles south of 52 Highway East on N Highway ( Old Stump Town Road). As of 9:55 am the fire was under control. Fire Department is going to remain on scene for a little bit to make sure nothing flares up. Bates County Live will have the Official Fire Department Report when it is released.
