The 2013 Outlaw Bass Tournament is set for Sunday April 7th 2013 from sunrise until weigh in time which is 3:30pm. Here is a list of all the rules:
1. Rules: The following rules for the tournament will be used. These rules will be interpreted solely by the tournament officials and their decisions are final.
2. Eligibility: All individuals who have paid the appropriate entry fee prior to 8:00 pm on the day before the tournament. Open to all ages. Maximum of 2 people per team.
3. Entry Fee: $40.00 per team. Entries will be accepted in person to Dale Craft or Troy Minor.
4. Tournament Hours: Take off at sunrise. Weigh in at 3:00 p.m. All fish must be caught during the tournament hours.
5. Take off and weigh-in: No take off check in. Weigh-in at the home of Dale Craft, Rt. 1 Box 624, Butler, MO. (3.5 miles E on H Hwy, ¾ miles N on UU Hwy, gray house on the right.).
6. Tackle and Equipment: All bass must be caught on a rod and reel during tournament hours. Artificial and live bait allowed.
7. Safety and Sportsmanship: Safe boating and fishing practices must be observed. Life jackets must be worn at any time the big motor is running. All Missouri Department of Conservation and Missouri State Water Patrol regulations and laws apply.
8. Permitted Fishing Locations: Any location in which you have prior permissions.
9. Scoring: Largemouth bass only. Length limits determined by your fishing location in accordance with Missouri Department of Conservation rules. 5 Fish limit. Total stringer weight per team will determine place. Any fish under the specified length brought to the scales will result in that fish being deducted from the total weight of the stringer. No frozen, mangled, or iced fish will be accepted. NO DEAD FISH WILL BE WEIGHED! Any dead fish weighed will result in a loss of the weight of that fish plus an additional 5 pound penalty.
10. Protest: must be filed prior to pay out.
11. Pay Out: Of the 40$ entry fee, $5 per team goes to “Big Bass” award. Remainder of the entry fee is split between 1st place (50%), 2nd Place (30%), 3rd (20%). If less than 8 teams, placings will go 1st (60%) and 2nd (40%).
12. Ties: will be determined by the team with the most number of fish. If a tie remains, the team with the biggest fish being weighed. If a tie is still in effect, the winner will be determined by coin toss (the first team to weigh will be considered heads)
13. Check in Late Penalty: 1 pound per minute up to 10 minutes, then disqualification. No excuses.
