Weather Update 6:30am
Severe thunderstorms and flooding are possible over the next 48 hours. Here's what to expect:
Today: Scattered thunderstorms through the morning will not be severe. Mostly dry weather this afternoon and evening.
Tonight: Thunderstorms with large hail may develop late tonight and continue into early Wednesday morning. Hail could be the size of golf balls.
Wednesday: Another round of strong to severe thunderstorms will develop during the afternoon and evening and may last overnight. Damaging winds and large hail will be the primary threats. Isolated tornadoes are possible with better chances for tornadoes to our south.
Wednesday Night: Thunderstorms will continue with potential rain totals of 2" to 4" across eastern KS into central and northern MO. Flooding and road closures are a distinct possibility, especially in flood prone areas.
