Yesterday the Butler Bears traveled to Holden for the District track meet.The weather turned out beautiful and that allowed the athletes to perform at their best. The boys team placed 7th out of 16 teams. Everyone went out and gave it their all to try to qualify for the sectional track meet next Saturday. To qualify the athlete must place in the top four in their event. Here are your sectional qualifiers for the 2013 season:
Triple Jump: Trey Mareth- 2nd place
Shot Put: Jordan Olson- 4th place
4x200 relay: Kyle Todd- 2nd place

400m Dash: Austin Castaneda- 1st place District Champion with a time of 51.97
4x400 relay: Kyle Todd- 1st place District Champions with a time of 3:35.80
