Funeral Services for Ann Byerly will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri with Pastor Dave Owsley officiating. Visitation will be prior to services from 10-11 a.m. at Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Missouri. Contributions to Bates County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
Ann Byerly, age 86 of Butler, Missouri died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born March 6, 1927 to Marion Walter and Nancy Catherine Fansler Burris in Amsterdam, Missouri.
Ann is survived by three sons, John A. Christopher and wife Rose of Warrensburg, Missouri, Jim R. Christopher of Raymore, Missouri and Stephen K. Christopher of Butler, Missouri; five grandchildren, Will, Wayne, Sarah, Rebecka and Andrew; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Ray Knowles and Eldon Byerly; one son, David; and two sisters, Ruth Greer and Lucy Chiofalo.
