Funeral services for Lyle. B. Howard will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri with Pastor Dave Owsley officiating and Bob Wayland assisting. Visitation will be prior to services from 1-2 p.m. at Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Ohio Street United Methodist Church or Charity of Choice.
Lyle B. Howard, age 100 of Butler, Missouri, died Friday, May 10, 2013 at Medicaoldge in Butler. He was born Juy 1, 1912 to Blueford and Nellie Theresa Koon Howard in Hillsboro, Indiana.
Lyle is survived by two sons, Lyle C. Howard and wife Linda of Butler, Missouria and Larry M. Howard and wife Kathie of Thorp, Washington; one daughter, Esther Ann Hopcroft and husband Barry of Butler, Missouri; two sisters, Mabel Harris and Ruth Conner, both of Butler, Missouri; and 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Marjorie in 2011; five sisters, Violetta Ghere, Viola King, Virginia Bundy, Ina Varns and Katherine Howard; and three grandsons, Mike, Chad and Ryan.
