Marion Louise McHugh, 87, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Villa St. Francis in Olathe, Kansas. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at St. John Vianney Catholic Parish in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Burial will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 23 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Halder, Wisconsin. Marion was born November 28, 1925 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Roy and Victoria (Lauer) Schubel. She married Edwin Thomas McHugh on April 26, 1947 in West Allis, Wisconsin. She was a devoted Catholic.
Marion was a loving wife and a caring mother. She always said “If you don’t have something good to say about someone, don’t say it.” That is a good reflection of how she always looked for the best in everyone. She will be deeply missed.
Marion was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and her loving husband, Edwin, on July 23, 2012. She is survived by two sons, Thomas McHugh (Joan), Milwaukee, WI and Michael McHugh (Denise), Overland Park, KS; one daughter, Kathy Faulks (Greg), Spring Valley, Ohio; sister, Barbara Hendrickson, Waukesha, WI; 6 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
