Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms may redevelop by the middle to late afternoon hours across portions of eastern Kansas and northern Missouri. The primary hazards will be large hail and damaging winds into the evening hours. Much of northern Missouri is under a SLIGHT risk for severe storms.
The areas with the highest potential for experiencing severe weather will be found in Oklahoma, southeastern Kansas and southern Missouri where a MODERATE risk of severe storms continues. Large hail, damaging winds, and even tornadoes will be possible.
