Missouri Water Patrol Officers responded to Public Beach #1 at Stockton lake on Saturday afternoon on a reported drowning. When they arrived on scene they was told by a relative that Christopher Roper 36, of Eldorado Springs Missouri was seen going under water and not coming back up. After a quick search the Corps - of - Engineer Rangers found Roper body and he was transported to Boliver where he was pronounced dead.
