In Drexel News, on Monday July 15th the Summer Reading Program will be having their Summer Reading Closing Party from 2PM to 3PM. Summer reading kids are reminded to come and “dot” the Be A Bookworm sign. The Summer Reading Closing Party will have the crazy songster, Babaloo, there to entertain the attendees with his crazy antics. Summer reading kids who turned in their reading logs will also be able to pick out their award book. There will be cotton candy and sno-cones served, so come early and don’t miss out!
On Tuesday July 16th the Drexel Library will be closed.
In news from Drexel, the Drexel Library will continue the fun on Wednesday July 17th. The Summer Fun! Story Hour will be from 10AM to 11AM. During this hour the library will be reading great books about fun things to do in the summer time. Who knows maybe your child’s favorite book will be read. Also before the hour is over the library will help those who attend to make a special something to take home.
Also, on Wednesday July 17th Inspirations Book Club will be meeting from 1PM to 2PM at the Drexel Library. The book club will be discussing two books this month. The first book is “Mercy” by Lauraine Snelling and the second book will be “Love Finds You in Liberty, Indiana” by Melanie Dobson. New members are always welcome to the Inspirations Book Club.
