Memorial services for Ron C. Smith will be 4 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel in Butler with Elder Mark Smith officiating. Visitation will be prior to services from 3 - 4 p.m. at Schowengerdt Chapel. Contributions to Church of Jesus Christ Butler Restoration Branch.
Ronald Curtis Smith, age 74 of Butler, Missouri died Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Medicalodge Nursing Home in Butler. He was born May 18, 1939 to Ward Francis and Velma Gertrude Curtis Smith in Independence, Missouri.
Ron is survived by his wife Linda Smith of Butler, Missouri; three daughters, Wendy Seward and husband Jeff of Butler, Missouri; Dana Smith and husband Mark of Independence, Missouri and Shelly Maugans and husband Brian of Nixa, Missouri; and a brother, Sam Smith of Lone Jack, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant sister, Jackie Smith.
