Vernon County sheriff Jason Mosher says five people were arrested Thursday on various illegal drug-related allegations at a home in Nevada. He says the arrests of two men and three women followed a three-day investigation that began when deputies received information on the sheriff's department's "Tips" line. The sheriff says officers from his department worked with agents from the C-Net Drug Task Force and found what they believe to be quantities of methamphetamines, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a set of scales.
Two of the suspects -- 26-year-old Timothy McElroy, Nevada, and 21-year-old Amber Goodwin, Sheldon, were booked on previously-issued warrants alleging failures-to-appear in court and the names of the other three suspects have not been released, pending the formal filing of charges.
