HARRISONVILLE, Mo. - Three siblings out of Harrisonville, Mo., have yet to be located.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Department has issued a Missing Persons Alert after three young siblings went missing.
The siblings are Tabitha Davis, 11, Jasper Davis, 14, and Jordan Davis, 15. They are believed to be with their biological, non-custodial mother Sherri Lynn Davis.
The sibling’s father, Jamie Davis, said he last saw them Friday afternoon when he was home for lunch; the school had an early out. When he returned around 4 p.m., the children were gone.
Cass Co. Sheriff Jeff Weber held a news conference on Monday, and said Sherri’s black Mercedes SUV was seen at the Davis home Friday afternoon. The family had not heard from her since she lost custody of the children back in 2009.
She is believed to be traveling in that SUV or a white recreational vehicle with Arizona license plates. She is linked to many addresses from Alaska to Florida. She may also have her five German Shepard dogs with her.
Weber said an Amber Alert was not issued because the situation did not meet the necessary criteria. Parental dispute does not apply unless the children are endangered. Jamie Davis does not believe Sherri would hurt the children.
Weber also said there are no signs the children have used their social media accounts or their cell phones since they've gone missing.
Tabitha is 4-foot, 9-inches tall and weighs 85 pounds. She has blond hair and blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, blue jeans and Hello Kitty slippers.
Jasper is 5-foot, 6-inches tall and weighs 125 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a dark colored shirt with a white emblem on the front, with white shorts and red socks.
Jordan is 5-foot, 6-inches and weighs 175 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt with dark blue shorts and flip flops.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Cass County Sheriff’s office at 380-5200.
