According to Henry
County Sheriff J. Kent Oberkrom, his office in conjunction with the
C.O.D.E. (Community Organization for Drug Elimination) organization
will be participating in the National Drug Take Back Day this
Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Summer’s Pharmacy in
Clinton.
Anyone who has
un-wanted or un-used prescription medications are urged to bring them
to Summary’s Pharmacy so they can be properly destroyed. The Drug
Take Back in Clinton is a cooperative effort of the C.O.D.E. group
and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
C.O.D.E. and the
Sheriff’s Office have a permanent drop box at the Sheriff’s
Office, 200 North Main Street. So if you are unable to make the
Saturday event, you can drop off your medications at the Sheriff’s
Office during regular business hours Monday through Friday.
