The firefighters were called out by Western Missouri 911 dispatchers about 12:30 a.m. and left the scene shortly after 6:30 a.m. today. Further information should be available from Fire Chief Bill Thornton later today. American Red Cross disaster assistance team volunteers were called out to assist the firefighters at the scene.
