A Nevada man has pleaded guilty Tuesday in Vernon County circuit court
to charges alleging receiving stolen property, the unlawful use of a
weapon, the unlawful use of an explosive device and the possession of a
controlled substance. 22-year-old Stormy B. Miller was arrested by
Vernon County sheriff's officers earlier this year during a traffic stop
near Elmwood Estates. Miller was sentenced to seven years in prison on
the stolen property charge and was ordered to pay just over $1,900.00 in
restitution. He also was sentenced to prison on the weapon, explosive
weapon and drug possession counts, concurrent with each other and the
receiving stolen property count.
