Obituary - Betty Jean Collins

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel in Butler with Gary Schowengerdt officiating. Burial in Benjamin Cemetery, Amoret, Missouri. 

Betty Jean Collins, age 67 of Warsaw, Missouri (formerly of the Butler/Amoret area) died in a motor vehicle accident near Lincoln, Missouri. She was born August 20, 1944 to Elmer Arthur and Tressie Charlotte Ford Hoover in Butler, Missouri.

Betty is survived by two daughters, Robyne McKinney and husband Ray of Centralia, Missouri and Charlotte Ridley and companion Thomas Traffas of Wichita, Kansas; four sisters, Bonnie Hoover, Pauline Ridley and Norma Ridley all of Amoret, Missouri and Mary Ann Knox of Butler, Missouri; five grandchildren, Nikki Roberts of Amoret, Missouri, Heather Rees of Columbia, Missouri, Holly Sanz of Amoret, Missouri, Tiffany Rees of Centralia, Missouri and Sheridan Ridley-O’Connell of Wichita, Kansas; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Don and Steven Hoover; and one sister, Helen Lough.
