On
Nov. 20, Brian Mathiesen, 45, Weaubleau, was arrested in St. Clair
County on a Cedar County felony warrant for child neglect. A deputy
observed a red Chevrolet pickup traveling on Highway 54 from Business
Highway 13 and a stop was initiated for a traffic offense.
The
vehicle was stopped near Highway MM on Highway 54. The warrant was
discovered when the deputy conducted a check of Mathiesen’s driver
status. He was taken into custody and booked into the St. Clair County
Jail. Bond was set at $2,500 cash or surety and was posted later the
same day.
On Nov. 19, William Bailey, 52, Lowry City, was arrested on a class D felony warrant for driving while intoxicated-alcohol persistent offender. The warrant was issued on Nov. 7 and stemmed from an incident involving the Missouri State Highway Patrol on Nov. 5. Bond was set at $5,000 cash or surety and was posted the same day.
