Weather Update: Dodged A Bullet

 A developing storm system threw us a mixed bag of weather from freezing rain to rain to sleet and back to snow. It could have been a lot worse for Friday Night and Saturday morning travels. Take a look at this snowfall total graphic! The winter storm got cranking just as it crossed the US 63 corridor, slamming St. Louis and western Illinois early this morning. Dry and milder conditions are in our forecast in the days ahead, likely reaching the 50s by mid week before the next storm arrives late Thursday and Friday.
