The Bates County Sheriff's Office will be holding a free CCW class to residents of Bates County. You must be a resident of Bates County to take the class. You will be required to show your ID at the beginning of the class to prove you are a Bates County resident. The class will be held on Feb 8, 2014 at the Bates County Annex. The class starts at 8 a.m. and lasts for 8 hours. You will need a ...semi-automatic and a revolver with 50 rounds for each gun. You also need to bring safety glasses and hearing protection. If you do not have the required guns, guns will be available to rent from the instructor at a cost of $25.00 for each gun. This includes the ammo.
