BUTLER FIRE DEPARTMENT

On
Friday, January 3 at approximately 4:58 P.M., the Butler Fire Dept. with
automatic mutual aid from Adrian Fire were dispatched to report of a structure fire at 4 Cedar Lane in
Butler.
On
arrival heavy smoke was found in the interior of a trailer home.
The
fire located in the center of the structure around the furnace, and was
extinguished with moderate damage to the area of origin and light to moderate
smoke damage throughout the remainder of the structure. The fire was declared under control at 5:20
P.M..
The
fire was determined to have been accidental in nature due to a possible furnace
malfunction.
Units
were on the scene until 6:16 P.M.
