The Cass County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the report of a body seen near the railroad tracks in the area of E. 175th street and S. Boardman Rd. northwest of Pleasant Hill. The report was called in by the railroad and deputies have confirmed that they have located a body. Investigators are still on scene. No determination has been made regarding cause of death and no description of the victim is being released at this time. Bates County Live will update this when more information is released.
