Funeral services for Lucille Platt will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri with Pastor Kenneth Plaster officiating. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial in Benjamin Cemetery, Amoret, Missouri. Contributions to Heartland Hospice or Butler First Assembly of God Church.
Goldia Lucille Platt, age 83 of Butler, Missouri, died Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Willow Lane Nursing Center in Butler. She was born June 3, 1930 to Raymond and Juanita Jessie Lingenfelter Warren in Boicourt, Kansas. Lucille is survived by two sons, Jimmy Platt and wife Carol and Steve Platt and wife Donna, all of Butler, Missouri; two daughters, Laura “Elaine” Eidson and husband Terry of Columbia, Missouri and Shanna Warren-Platt Thornton and husband Kevin of Seattle, Washington; one brother, Bill Warren of Pleasanton, Kansas; one sister, Jean Malone and husband Ted of Amoret, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Jeremie, Jamie and husband Adam, Kaleb, Breanna, Tessa, Jason and wife Leslie, Janelle and husband Chris, Miles and Natasha; and great-granddaughter, Nealy Marie. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband James in 2009; and one sister, Maxine Castle.
