Funeral services for Norma Mae Jobe will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri with Jimmy Knight officiating. There is no visitation. Burial in Myers Cemetery, Appleton City, Missouri. Contributions to Pleasant Gap Christian Church.
Norma Mae Jobe, age 87, of Butler, Missouri died Saturday, January 25, 2014 in Butler. She was born November 21, 1926 to Orville Eddie and Ethel Levens Vassar in Galena, Kansas.
Norma Mae is survived by two sons, Thomas Jobe and wife Randie of Butler, Missouri and Timothy Jobe and wife Darla of Hemitt, California; adopted son, Garry Dawson of Butler, Missouri; one brother, Eddie Vassar of California; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; and two brothers, Ronnie Vassar and Kenneth Vassar.
