The Temperatures are in the 40s/50s, but the clouds rolling in are a tell tale sign that changes are coming...and coming FAST! An arctic cold front will blast through the region in the coming hours, sending temperatures tumbling through the 30s, 20s and 10s with some areas in the single digits by daybreak. Yet another round of strong winds will arrive with this cold front, gusting 35 to 45 across much of northern Missouri and adjacent northeast Kansas this evening. Although most of the area will remain dry, light snow will bring perhaps a coating of light snow to northeast Missouri, along with dangerously cold wind chills of 10 to perhaps 20 below zero by daybreak for places like Kirksville.
