Accident West of Rich Hill This Morning

Around 10:30am this morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol along with Bates County EMS and Bates County Sheriff's Office responded to a 1 vehicle accident on A Highway just West of Rich Hill. The accident occurred when the 1997 Dodge driven by 43 year old Kevin D. Gregg of Stockton, Missouri was traveling Eastbound on Route A when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected which caused the vehicle to return to the road and travel off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle struck a culvert and overturned ejecting the driver. Mr. Gregg received moderate injuries and was taken to Bates County Memorial Hospital by ambulance. The Dodge was totaled and towed from the scene by Gilkey Tow of Rich Hill.
