Today is the last day of the 'Great Cuke Zuch Giveaway' at the Community Food Pantry of Butler. We have produce that needs to be used!! If you are a Bates County resident please come to the Food Pantry dock before 3 p.m. today and from the warmth of your car we will hand you a sack of zucchini and or cucumbers. Wouldn't zucchini bread smell good baking in your oven? Or add some to a pot of soup. Think summer while you slice cucumbers into vinegar and onions or into a salad (maybe if we all think it, it will come?). The Food Pantry thanks you all and hopes you enjoy this produce! "
