Norman E. Davis, 55, faces one count of statutory sodomy.
Prosecutors allege Davis had sex with the teen on January 25 in a field near the boy's home. The boy's parents took him to the Cass County Sheriff's Office about a week later where he detailed what happened.
Deputies arrested Davis after setting up a sting operation to catch him near the victim's home. He told investigators he was in Cass County to meet someone he knew.
