Midwest propane prices declining

The U.S. Energy Information Administration reports the average retail price for propane in the U.S. fell to $3.76 per gallon as of Monday, down 13.4 cents from a week ago and 25.3 cents below the peak price of $4.01 the last week of January.

Propane prices in the Midwest region averaged 3.54 a gallon, down 28.5 cents from last week and 67.5 cents below the peak $4.195 on January 27th. While the Midwest prices have been declining, New England and the Mid-Atlantic States have seen slight increases the past two weeks.
