Carol Imogene Mitchell, age 78 of Butler, Missouri died Saturday, February 15, 2014 at her home in Butler. She was born October 20, 1925 to Albert Muman and Roberta Imogene Gabriel Smith in Preston, Kansas.
Carol is survived by her husband, Sherlock Mitchell of Butler, Missouri; three sons, Rick Mitchell and wife Jerry of Oak Grove, Missouri, Ted Mitchell and wife Vickie of Kansas City, Missouri and Ron Mitchell of Independence, Missouri; two daughters, Janet Young and husband Dwight of Washington; and Brenda Gilbert of Oak Grove, Missouri; two sisters, Mildred Ince of Fordland, Missouri and Betty Siver of Houston, Texas; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one daughter, Linda Mitchell.
