Osceola Woman arrested on felony warrant

Megan Shields
On Tuesday, Feb. 25, Megan Shields, 25, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for a class C felony of possessing a controlled substance. The warrant was issued on Jan. 17. Bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety and a court date of March 21 was given.

The charge stemmed from an incident on Jan. 16 when St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office deputies along with members of the Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdictional Drug Task Force conducted a drug investigation at a residence on NE 364 Road, Osceola.

The investigation revealed Shields to be in possession of methamphetamine. After Shields’ initial arrest in January, she was transferred to Clay County on a felony warrant for probation violation on a receiving stolen property charge prior to a warrant being issued in St. Clair County.
