At 1:30 p.m. the same day, a deputy responded to Brittany Turner’s residence on East Third Street, Appleton City, in reference to a burglary. Turner advised she received a phone call stating a female was seen in her shed going through items and stacking them by the door. Turner stated when she arrived at her the residence the female was gone and the shed doors were open.
A pile of Turner’s items from the shed was located by the door along with a bag full of clothes and other items that did not belong to her. A prescription for Oxycontin with Buckley’s name on it was located inside the bag. The bag also contained an eyeglass case with credit cards and insurance cards belonging to Buckley. Other items found included several DVDs and a cell phone. The investigation revealed the cell phone belonged to Lyle Roland, West Third Street.
Contact was made with Roland who stated he returned from the store and found a female in his house. She was described as being five-foot nine-inches tall, mid 20s and slender with long dark hair in a pony tail. The female was wearing black pants, a grey hoodie and house slippers. He said when she left he could not find his phone to call the police. Lyle identified the cell phone and several of the DVDs found as what he was missing from his residence.
