By now most of us have had enough of this winter's cold, snow, sleet and freezing rain and are ready for Spring. Unfortunately, we have two more chances to add to our winter snow totals before we turn the calendar to March. The first system will arrive Friday morning and spread a mix of sleet, freezing rain and snow across the region. A couple inches of snow are likely over northern MO while a win...try mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain are possible further south from west central MO into southern KS. There won't be much time between storms as snow, sleet and freezing rain move back in Saturday night. There remains much uncertainty on how much warm air will spread into the region which will affect snow, sleet and freezing rain amounts. The most likely scenario is for accumulating snow to fall across northern MO while the further south you go the greater the chance for sleet and freezing rain.
