Another report of items stolen from vehicle in Appleton City

On Tuesday, March 4, a St. Clair County deputy took another report of items stolen from a vehicle in Appleton City. Bill Berry reported a Garmin GPS valued at $200, a fixed blade knife with a handmade handle made out of an antler and some prescription bottles were stolen from his pick-up parked on East 3rd Street during the night of Feb. 28. On March 1-2, the sheriff’s office took three reports of similar incidents on North Poplar Street, North Maple Street and East 2nd Street. The investigation is ongoing.
