Grass Fires In Bates County Show Up On Radar

The combination of very warm temperatures, strong and gusty southwest winds plus very low humidity levels such as today, are lethal ingredients for wildfires this time of year. Quite often we can see their smoke plumes on our radar if the fire is large enough. This afternoon we were able to see two of them.
