Numerous Grass Fires This Afternoon

Numerous brush fires have developed this afternoon, many of which are so big our radar can detect them. This includes a large fire northwest of KCI Airport. 

Conditions will remain very favorable for out-of-control fires this afternoon. Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged. Even tossing a cigarette out your car window can ignite an out of control fire in these conditions. Use extreme caution!
