Obituary - Freddie Leroy Plasmyer

Memorial graveside services for Fred Plasmyer will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2014 at the Bald Mound Cemetery in Dade County, Missouri near Greenfield with Roger McKee officiating.  There is no visitation.  Contributions to the Ohio Street United Methodist Church.  Services under the direction of the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri.  

Freddie Leroy Plasmyer, age 90 of Butler, MO, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the Medicalodge Healthcare Center in Butler after a long illness.  Born October 4, 1923 in rural Dade County, he was the first-born son of W.H. and Bessie Dickerson Plasmyer.

Those left to mourn his passing are his loving wife of more than 30 years, Marie of the home; one daughter, Stephanie Obert and husband Fred of Lockwood, Missouri; one stepdaughter, Cindy Weiss and husband Robert of Liberty, Missouri;  four stepsons; Curry Massey and wife Linda and Mike Massey and wife Melissa all of Butler, Missouri; David Massey and wife Donna of Olathe, Kansas and Tom Cox of Memphis, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Stacey Obert Dutil and husband Kevin of Bentonville, Arkansas and Scott Obert of Springfield, Missouri; step-grandchildren Joe Massey, Leslie Hedrick, Maggie Massey, Amanda Weiss and Monica Massey; and great grandsons Nathan and Noah Dutil, Bentonville, Arkansas.
