Investigation of stolen electric motors continues
An investigation of stolen electric motors is continuing. On Saturday, March 15 a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to C&M Farm Supply on SE 1300 Road in reference to electric motors being stolen. Greg Hoelscher estimated one ton of motors he was saving to take to the junk yard were missing. He stated most of the motors were three phase and estimated the replacement cost at $8,000.00. Evidence was collected from the scene.
Stealing near Taberville
On Friday, March 21, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to the Taberville area in reference to thefts at two vacant homes between March 20 at 4:30 p.m. and March 21 at 9:25 a.m. Susan and Robert Lawson reported several items missing from the vacant homes including electric wire, copper tubing, two game cameras, and an electric fence charger. The investigation is continuing.
Theft of hog feeders reported
On March 22, a St. Clair County deputy took two reports concerning the theft of hog feeders. George "Craig" Siegismund reported he had two feeders stolen and Gary Cook reported he had four feeders stolen from a piece property on SW 1301 Road. The feeders were valued between $150 and $250 each. A suspect was named and the investigation is continuing.
