UPDATE: Pursuit ends in rollover accident East of Adrian

Around 9:35 this morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol along with the Adrian Police and Adrian Fire Department, Bates County Police Department all responded to a 1 vehicle rollover accident on 18 Highway and Z Highway East of Adrian.

The accident occurred as the 1998 Ford driven by 63 year old Michael H. Kreitler of Adrian, Missouri was attempting to flee from the Adrian Police Department when he failed to negotiate a curve causing the vehicle to run off the left side of the roadway striking 2 signs and overturning. Mr. Kreitler received moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Bates County Memorial Hospital. The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Don's Tow of Butler, Missouri.
