Butler Lady Bears Track Results: Archie 3-31-14

On Monday our team participated in the Archie HS Invitational Track Meet. It was a pleasant, sunny afternoon but awfully windy. Our Lady Bears fought through the wind and finished with a hard-earned 3^rd place finish out of 15 teams!!

The top 8 place finishers earned points towards that 3^rd place finish! Congratulations to all who participated!

100M Dash- Kayla Morris- 2^nd place

200M Dash- Kayla Morris- 2^nd place

400M Dash- Amy Miller- 7^th place

3200M Run- Katie Henry- 8^th place

100M Hurdles- Kiersten Morris- 1^st place with a time of 17.58

                               Ashleigh Floyd- 4^th place

300M Hurdles- Kiersten Morris- 1^st place with a time of 52.87

                               Ashleigh Floyd- 7^th place

4x100M Relay- 1^st place with a time of 54.22: Kayla Morris, Makenna Hannah, Courtney Blevins, Kiersten Morris

4x200M Relay-1^st place with a time of 1:52.91: Kayla Morris, Mady Gepford, Amy Miller, Kiersten Morris

4x400M Relay- 4^th place: Makenna Hannah, Jenna Simms, Chelsea Spencer, Mady Gepford

4x800M Relay- 3^rd place: Katie Henry, Jenna Simms, Peyton McGuire, Mady Gepford

Girls High Jump- Amy Miller- 4^th place

                                Aarika Gardner- 6^th place

Pole Vault- Aarika Gardner- 7^th place

Triple Jump- Amy Miller- 1^st place with a jump of 32’ 10.75”

                          Peyton McGuire- 5^th place

The Butler Bears will travel to Adrian tomorrow, Thursday, April 3^rd.
