Mass of Christian Burial for Evelyn J. Woods will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Butler with Father Tom Hermes officiating.  Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick Church.  Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Missouri.

 Evelyn Josephine “Shorty” Woods, age 92 of Butler, Missouri died Thursday, April 10, 2014 in Butler.  She was born June 6, 1921 to John and Philomena Putthoff Goebel in Germantown, Missouri.

Evelyn is survived by one son, Kent Woods of Butler, Missouri; and nephews and nieces.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Louis in 1975; five brothers, Hugo, Ray, Bud, Clarence and Ralph; five sisters, Cecelia, Leona, Frena, Laurine and Dorothy; infant twin sisters; and a daughter, Connie Jo in 1956.
