Rich Hill Man arraigned In Vernon County Court Today

A rural Rich Hill man was arraigned this morning in Vernon County associate circuit court on felony charges alleging the possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of a firearm. Vernon County sheriff Jason Mosher says officers and C-Net Drug Task Force agents investigated suspected illegal drug operations Thursday in three Vernon County communities arrested 26-year-old Brendan S. Moreland, Rich Hill route 1, Thursday during a surveillance operation in the North part of Nevada. Moreland told judge Neal Quitno he would apply for public defender services and a pre-hearing conference is scheduled April 24.
