St. Clair County Press Release: Appleton City Man Arrested on warrant

On Wednesday, April 16, Jacob A. Linthicum, 19, Appleton City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with two felony counts, unlawful use of a weapon, a class D felony; and armed criminal action, an unclassified felony. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.

The charges stem from an incident on April 15 when Linthicum allegedly pointed a rifle at Paul Shrik in an angry or threatening manner. Shirk was attempting to repossess a 2004 Mitsubishi passenger car from property located near the B Highway and M Highway junction, Appleton City, when the incident occurred.
