Funeral services for Lee Carrell will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri. There is no visitation. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Missouri. Contributions to Wayside Waifs. 

Elmer Lee Carrell, age 82 of Butler, Missouri died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Missouri Veteran’s Home in Warrensburg, Missouri. He was born June 12, 1932 to Elmer Lee Sr. and Ona Senter Carrell in Grandview, Missouri. 

Lee is survived by one son, Steve Carrell of Butler, Missouri; two daughters, Wanda Carrell of Butler, Missouri and Lynn Midgett and husband Bryan of Kingsville, Missouri; one brother, Gene Carrell and wife Nancy of Bolivar, Missouri; one sister, Marilyn Wilbur and husband Bob of Florida; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather Lester Vahle; and wife Norma June Carrell.
